Types of People In Class Projects
Recently in school we have being doing this project where we are in teams of about for and I have noticed that there are a lot of different types of people in class projects and a lot of them are very annoying. Let's begin, shall we?
The One That Thinks They're Better Than Everyone Else
This is the person who is really good at the subject and decides that they are always correct and everyone else is beneath them. Newsflash, you're going to need help eventually. How about letting other people's ideas get put forward instead of droning on about how perfect and amazing you are? We get it, you got an A* in the lesson but I have a brain too buddy. Hey, you never know, someones idea may actually be better than yours. Yep, it's fine to go in the corner and think about that for a while. Crying is acceptable too.
The One That Does No Work
Uh huh, this is the person whose group silently dies a little when the teacher calls out their name. You know this person isn't going to do any work and they know it too. By the time they're at you're table they already have popcorn and Netflix set up. But this person has to do something so you leave them to colouring in your intricate diagrams. Until... They mess that up too! Wha- you know what just sit there and look pretty.
The Annoying One You Have To Love
This is the person that stops everyone in the group from doing work just because they're cracking everyone up. The one that makes everyone laugh by randomly dancing or giving the worst suggestions. Yeah, you love this person but when there is one week left until the project is due you start getting just a little more annoyed when they start singing 'Anaconda' over the other working team members. Everyone wants this person on their team of course, but sometimes they've got to know when to turn their spontaneity down a little bit.
The One That Does All The Work
Everyone prays that they will get this person on the team because duh, they're the smartest person in the whole class! We'll obviously help them when they need it, but come on is this person has got it in the bag! You're going to ace this project no matter what. But sometimes it can get quite annoying when all of your idea's get shut down. You've got an A in your mind but in your heart there's a B for broken. Yikes... that was cheesy.
The One That Takes All The Credit
This is the person that does no work when making the class project but when it's time to display it to the whole class all of a sudden they are going to be reading out the information you wrote up, describing the pictures you found and being the star of your show. Umm... No. If you did no work do not even attempt to read out the work that I created. Sass intended.
In the end you've got to love class projects because they're awesome! But just pray your team is full of people who actually want to do the work. Or just pay them to. Food works too.
